EnviroSci Tutor
Required: completion of at least one of EESA01/06/07/09, EESA11, EESB02/03/05/05, EESB15/17/18/19, EESB20/21/22/26
You, the tutor, play a pivotal role in the success of the Centre.
The tutor:
- Will guide students in understanding concepts and solving assigned problems for EES- courses without directly providing the correct answers initially.
- Will uphold the meaning of being a UTSC facilitator, by providing and guiding students who require assistance with environmental science, geoscience, and environmental studies questions.
- Will commit to the position as decided by the hiring committee. Applicants must be aware that they are required to tutor for a minimum of 3 hours a week, every week, in the Centre (i.e. monitoring a Discord channel for questions, details below) for at least a semester. Tutors will also be required to create and host/co-host one midterm or final exam review session for the course/at least one course (if tutoring more than one) they intend to tutor for.
- Will receive CCR if tutors remain for the entire academic year

GeoSci Director
- Will work closely with the Vice President of Academics
- Serve as liaisons with the executive for all students in chemistry, and play a
vital role in identifying academic and career-related tools pertaining to the
field of Geoscience - Informs Geoscience students of resources and services that will help prepare them for graduate programs and work opportunities via classroom announcements and Quercus
- Will assist in planning professional seminars, career panels and information
sessions regarding other undergraduate and graduate program options (such as
the various combined degree programs) related to Geoscience - Will plan and put on an APGO information seminar in the fall semester

First Year Rep
- Serve as liaisons with the executive for all first-year students in the department.
- Communicate association news and events to all first-year students, with in-class
announcements and posters - Identify concerns relevant to first year students and bring them to the attention of
appropriate figures within the association.
