On Monday, November 19th from 4pm to 5:30pm in AA 160, the Arts & Events Programming is hosting a free talk by Penny Park, a veteran science journalist and the Executive Director of the Science Media Centre of Canada. Entitled “Curiosity, Doubt, and Truth: What Journalism and Science Have in Common and Why They Need Each Other”, Ms. Park will discuss the importance of bridging the gap between scientists and journalists given the increasing importance of science-based stories in the media.
