OUR MISSION

The Environmental and Physical Sciences Students’ Association (EPSA) is a Departmental Student Association (DSA) with the purpose of acting as a link between students and faculty within the Department of Physical and Environmental Sciences at the University of Toronto Scarborough. Our goal is to continually act as a voice for students enrolled in a specialist, major and/or minor program in the physical and environmental sciences, addressing and relaying their concerns to the administration, faculty, and other student organizations when and where found appropriate.

EPSA strives to foster a collective vision and purpose among our membership, while serving as a comprehensive resource for students who look for assistance and/or guidance with their education. We encourage the interaction and exchange of ideas between the students and the faculty through mingling and networking events. By providing our members with information and academic resources, we also hope to provide you with social forums to meet other people and to get involved at UTSC!

Our revised constitution can be found here (PDF): EPSA Constitution

The EPSA executive team works to provide meaningful resources and event to assist students in their academic needs, broadening their minds to prospective careers, building connections to faculty and staff of our department through mix and mingles and networking events. Our social engagement initiatives, including our annual Reading Paintball and Ski Trips, in addition to the Winter Ball Formal, have promote student community and interactions beyond the classroom.
