The Environmental and Physical sciences Students’ Association (EPSA), in partnership with the Academic Advising & Career Centre, would like to invite you to our Careers in Environmental and Physical Science Networking Event on Wednesday, March 7, 2012 from 5:00 – 7:00 pm in room R260.
Meet industry representatives and learn how they made the transition from university to working in the world of Physical and Environmental Sciences.

Note: A mandatory preparation session will be held on Wednesday, March 7 from 12-1:30 pm in SL232. Register for the preparation session here: Prep Register
This session will introduce key networking strategies to students to assist them in maximizing their interactions with industry representatives, alumni, and faculty at the event.
The evening will be structured in a speed networking format. You and 5-8 students will be grouped at a table. Every 15 minutes, industry professionals will rotate among the tables sharing their career story. This will be followed by an open reception where light refreshments will be served.
Dress is business casual. Be prepared to introduce yourself, stating your degree, program and your career goal. You should also think of questions you might want to ask the industry professionals if time permits.
