Thomas Homer Dickson Dialogues

On Wednesday, November 11th, at 6:00 p.m. in Rex’s Den (formerly Bluff’s Restaurant) EPSA, in collaboration with the Sustainability Office and the Department of Student Life, is pleased to present Dr. Thomas Homer-Dixon.

thomashomerdixonedit2An internationally-renowned expert on environmental security; causes of war, revolution, and ethnic conflict; international relations; and complexity theory, Dr. Thomas Homer-Dixon is one of the world’s foremost thinkers on threats to global security in the 21st century.

His groundbreaking theories have prompted invitations to speak from Yale, Harvard, Princeton, Stanford, MIT, West Point, Oxford and Cambridge Universities, the World Bank, the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, and the Council on Foreign Relations in New York.

He is a man who has briefed the CIA, State Department, National Security Council and former Vice-President Al Gore. On November 11th, he comes to UTSC to share his groundbreaking ideas with you.

Following Dr. Homer-Dixon’s lecture, there will be the opportunity to join discussion groups and enjoy FREE FOOD as you discuss your thoughts on what was said. You do have to sign up in advance, and seating is VERY limited. This event is GOING TO SELL OUT, so EPSA is pleased to announce that we have secured a special ADVANCED REGISTRATION PERIOD for our members.
