+EXTENDED PHYSICSSPACE

Need a place to study over the exam month?

One of the problems on the UTSC campus is the limited study space available to students.

For these reasons, the Physics Centre aims to provide physics students with a designated study space over the exam month called the +Extended PhysicsSpace. The practical rooms (SW 505 A to F) have been converted into study space for physics students, and will be open during normal departmental hours (9 AM to 6 PM).

The 5 practical rooms come in three different styles:

  1. There is 1 computer lab with fully equipped iMacs;
  2. There are 2 group study rooms for collaborative work;
  3. There are 2 individual study rooms for quiet independent work.

To use this study space you must be either:

(1) a Physics/Astrophysics student (that is, enrolled in a physics major or specialist program),

OR

(2) Studying Physics/Astronomy-related material (this study space is open to first-year students who want to study physics/astronomy-related material).
